"I've lived on Roatan since I was 6 years old. I grew up here and I've learned a lot about the culture on Roatan, so my heart is here. I am originally from the town of Puerto Cortez on the coast of Honduras. I work with tourists from all over the world, and every opportunity I have I give them my full attention, so if they come back again to the island they'll ask for me. My main job as a guide is to give great service. Thanks so much and God bless."

"Juan Carlos was very personal and professional. We wanted to go on an island tour to see some of the local spots and that's exactly what he did. Our tour started with driving up to the point behind the airport and then taking a small hike up the hill to a beautiful spot that allowed us to see much of the island. You could see both sides and we were able to get a beautiful view of the airport and Coxen Hole. We proceeded on the "only" road on the island and visited the small villages. We did not want to go to the tourist type attractions on our tour, but Carlos would have gladly taken us there if that was our wish. We went as far east as Fantasy Island where we were able to see an abundance of spider monkeys which ate sugar out of our hands and we saw bats which flew freely among the trees that lined the beach. We also saw tapors, which are like an island version of our squirrels. Our tour started at 9:00 and we didn't return until 4:00 in the afternoon. Our final stop was at a Cameo Factory, where we saw young boys carving in fine detail beautiful scenes onto ivory. All in all it was a very relaxing day and gave us a good picture of life on the island".
